We could not think of a more vital training to teach our young, than the belief that their efforts will bring results which will help them earn greater success and career income from these skills in early math. Succeed with math and the STEM/TECH career path creates an additional one million in earnings. Do the work early and earn the paycheck.

Facts are stated from leaders in education that 80% of the math we use at work daily in the US is below the advanced math you hear about in calculus and trig and "professional"education in collegiate settings. What is needed is earning the success with early math, which allows the student to persist and move forward. Our national history with math performance is far lower than expected and changes are needed. We have focused where the research states the need is paramount and the success in early math, opens gates to higher paying careers.

The first major gateway to future math success is earning the proficiency (skills) in early math in the early years of schooling. We all need to acquire the needed habits which are formed with effort. Students are building the persistence as they grow skills successfully and earning confidence. These behavioral attributes are developed with solid coaching of the student, who is also being trained with our materials and methods which are capable of bringing success on a timely basis. We believe success in math can come daily, and add motivation to all. Stronger students benefit from adult expertise and we supply methods.

Research data proves student losses in math come early and frequent failing is causing our youth to resist further efforts. We see a national frustrations driven by loss and students avoid the feelings loss creates. Yet, we humans are attracted to what makes us feel good and we at Community Math are dedicated to providing the needed methods and coaching materials to support the effort to bring the student and the family the needed peace and welcomed benefits of successes as they achieve.

Our collaborators are mindful that coaching is to enhance and improve a very negative narrative that exists with decades of repeated failure in math nationally. Some say we could have done better back when. Or, we should have done better over the past decade across the nation which is low performing and stagnant in measures today. Our advocacy was created and attracts those professionals who are convinced we can do better now, together.

We begin unusally, with the offer to families and their students to access our materials online, at no cost for personal use. They are also able and encouraged to download the materials and supplement the efforts with paper and pencil at the desk or kitchen table. Few realize the very latest research literature says tutoring with paper and pencil works best and technology needs to enter, only after competency is first proven. We also know successful behaviors include doing the work, learning the disciplines, enjoying the improvments. Music, arts, sports are the same; persistent training efforts.
