Any student can become frustrated with math at an early age, which can cause various problems with their self-confidence in school for many years. We believe in short frequencies for earned praise as they move through our shorter workbooks versus large texts. Win each day!

We built our Math training in workbooks to see success come in shorter times. We all need supportive reinforcement when we put in any effort which is challenging, You will find as they work through successfully, with our guidance in a step-by-step training method, that early success creates more!

*Teaches logic and critical thinking

Math rules are steady and have been for centuries. Everything from basic addition and subtraction to advanced calculus follows a set of rules which allow replication.

The rules of math teach students logic as they have to follow the rules of operations from the first day they learn them through every real-life situation they come across for the rest of their lives. We elect to train with samples of real life which are understandable to the student and not something so complex it may cause failure and confusion starting out. They should know how 1/2 plus 1/2 does not make 2/4 and if that is money, they lost. Knowing this mathematically to prove it, is a needed life skill.

* Teaches real-life problem solving

It’s not uncommon for students to get frustrated by word problems. Frustration often comes because of exaggerated situations in such word problems that make the practice feel unrealistic and not applicable in real life. However, kids need to understand that the principles they’re learning in math class are going to have real-life applications. Knowing how to do math can help ensure that they don’t get overcharged for groceries, disadvantaged in a home repair or purchase, or miss out on financial opportunities in the future.

* The basics are building blocks

Addition and subtraction are taught at a young age as the foundation for principles that will be taught in the future. Students who have trouble understanding the basics will continue to struggle as they move onward to multiplication, subtraction, and then comes the fractions and percents and content we provide in this series.

Fact is, this content in the series is the building block for needed study behaviors as work is required, and the guidance along the training pathway will support success being earned.

Those students, regardless of age, who become confident in various mathematical operations, are going to be more likely to be drawn to STEM fields like architecture, engineering, computer programming, chemistry, biology, and others.

Establishes a healthy relationship with math

Students who start having poor experiences with math when they’re young, often go on to dread the mere mention of the subject as they get older. Students sometimes view it as a toxic subject in school and will do everything they can to avoid it.

Success at a young age can be encouraging and play a major role in establishing a healthy relationship with the subject. In life success is traditionally aligned with work, the effort put forth which all professionals in any field or profession, will attest.

Regardless of how well students do when they’re young, there’s going to be a point when difficulty arrives. A healthy relationship with math will help them successfully navigate struggles without giving up, as they are trained to seek solutions and have success.

* Reach out for our materials and thank you for spreading the word to the world.

You can help your child build their confidence in math early by showing that they can have success. Our math programs are designed to tutor students from anywhere to learn anytime. We at Community Math Training appreciate any opportunity to serve.
