On line survey for opinions
Click Here!Well over half our citizens have not successfully entered, nor completed college. Nor have near enough citizens entered and completed TECH/ STEM / Career Track schools, slowing the growth of industry which has had unmet needs for talent for many years. We intend to change this with early onset training made available to improve the results, all based on research and blending early math with professional coaching.
We are attracting leading researchers to this cause as a Collaborative Model and we are currently focused on expanding the online offerings to include coaching for all, citing research we feel is supportive to specific needs. We have begun to design the Applied Early Math exercises into real world applications within the fields of science, where "seeing the use of this math" will be a step in creating a far more effective and motivating model to feed the young curious minds.
(IE) We have attracted noted and highly experienced PhD scientists to use the math skills we build, in the world of insects, agriculture and chemistry. which any compentent early math student will be capable of performing and yes, enjoying the confidence built with competence! We want this available asap, just as we have been involved now with the Learning and Cognitive Psychlogists who are to address the wide needs of parents and teachers. Teachers struggle with behavioral issues, highly expected when the students are repeatedly frustrated, which can be better managed with training progressions founded on building skiils with competency.
Failure builds fear and psychologists say fear is managed with competence in the skills needed to perform. Today, the majority of both parents and teachers who were currently surveyed nationally, are fearful to be involved in anything math. They were also untrained and they know it and importantly, we know they too are victims of institutional failure. Recent data clearly points to the teaching profession which also reports our educators need greater skills in math, and science personally and resources to train on teaching the content. We support both needs here.
"One small step for man, one giant step for mankind" is a well known quote from our national call to go to the moon. We have our own version...AS we attract more to take a small step forward to focus on early math, we will see our nation move into a far more collaborative and co-operative model for training our youth.
The need for scale and urgency is research proven for decades; it is time to move and learn as we grow, together. The time for that small step is now; teachers and students and families have all suffered enough with the additional strains of Covid. That event will be damaging to our economy for years to come, in terms of having well trained graduates to enter into various career tracks capable of all the growth they have worked to achieve with the proper tools provided early on!
